7/1/2009 Seven Reasons for Leftist Anti-Semitism (Don Feder - FrontPageMag.com) For the left, anti-Semitism makes perfect sense – almost as much sense as socialized medicine. Except for Islam (with which it’s increasingly allied), the left has a near-monopoly on organized anti-Semitism. Of self-identified Democrats, 32 percent blame Jews “a moderate amount” to “a great deal” for our economic woes, versus 18.4 percent of Republicans. In other words, almost twice as many Democrats as Republicans believe sinister Jews are responsible for the collapse of the financial house of cards constructed by Congressional Democrats on a foundation of sub-prime mortgages. Ah, the Democrats, so tolerant, so minority friendly – except for Jews. Even the Jewish left acknowledges this reality. In 2007, the San Francisco ADL held a conference (Finding Our Voice), described by the Jewish Telegraph Agency as “aimed at empowering Jewish progressives to respond to anti-Semitism of the left” – a project destined to be as successful as Ayatollahs for Fair Elections.
6/19/2009 Hope and Change - But Not For Iran (Charles Krauthammer - PatriotPost.com) As millions of Iranians take to the streets to defy a theocratic dictatorship that, among its finer qualities, is a self-declared enemy of America, what do they hear from the president of the United States? Continued "dialog" with a regime that is breaking heads, shooting demonstrators, expelling journalists, and arresting activists. Our fundamental values demand that America stand with demonstrators opposing a regime that is the antithesis of all we believe. And where is our president? Afraid of "meddling."
6/1/2009 Our World: Iran's Global Reach (Caroline Glick - Jerusalem Post) Barack Obama underestimates the threat Iran poses to global security. CIA director Leon Panetta was dispatched to Israel to insist that she not attack Iran without first receiving permission from Washington. As far as the administration is concerned, the only reason Iran would threaten US interests is if Israel provokes it. Iran has developed a strategic presence in Latin America that constitutes a grave threat to US national security.
5/31/2009 Are there Palestinians to talk to? (NewMajority.com) Last week, Obama met with Netanyahu and insisted that Israel take difficult steps including clearing the way for a Palestinian state. Amidst this deadlock, Palestinians are increasingly looking for new leadership, howeve,r the credentials and experience of these organizations have yet to be tested.
5/31/2009 David Frum: US-Israel relations take a familiar route (National Post) While Obama's Iran policy may be vague, hypothetical, and distant, his Israel policy is clear and firm. He will not tolerate an Israeli attack on Iran (a position his CIA director hs now stated publicly) and he wants full steam ahead on a Palestinian state.
5/31/2009 Empathy vs Impartiality - When they conflict, the supreme court must choose the latter (nationalreviewONLINE) President Obama prefers Supreme Court justices who will violate their oath of office. Obama's insistence that the "quality of empathy, of understanding and identifying with people's hopes and sturggles" is the key qualification for a Supreme Court justice. So, what's wrong with empathy? Obama has something specific in mind, he wants the justice's oath to be rewritten, judges must administer justice with respect to persons, they must be partial to the poor, and so on.
5/31/2009 Islamic Speakers Bureau Backed by Radical Profs (American Thinker) A California nonprofit dedicated to "teaching about Islam & Muslims" at US high schools and college campuses features a board of advisors that is composed of some of the most controversial activist professors in the field of Middle Eastern studies today. Having created a curriculum about Islam for grades 7 thorugh 12, the State of California used the curriculum at one point.
4/3/2009 Obama's Ultimate Agenda (TownHall.com) Five minutes of explanation to James Madison, and he'll have a pretty good idea what a motor car is.... then try to explain how the Constitution he fathered allows the president to unilaterally guarantee the repair or replacement of every component of millions of automobiles sold in the states, and you will leave him slack-jawed.
3/31/2009 A Rookie President (TownHall.com) It has been said that for every rookie one has on one's starting team, you will lose a game. We now have a rookie President of the United States, and, in the dangerous world we live in, with terrorist nations going nuclear, just one rookie mistake can bring disaster down on this generation and generations yet to come. Obama has never had a position of major executive responsibility in any kind of organization where he was personally responsible for the outcome.
3/25/2009 IDF Chief Snubbed in Washington - a message to Israel (Middle East Perspectives) Lieutenant General Gabi Ashkenazi visited DC last week to discuss the growing Iranian threat to Israel. He was unable to schedule meetings with the Secretary of Defense, Joint Chiefs of Staff, and the Director of National Intelligence. In the past this extraordinary cool reception was almost unheard of. The unavailability of virtually any senior official is telling. What has changed?
3/12/2009 Blame the Lobby - Obama administration's latest failed nominee peddles a conspiracy theory (Washington Post) A former envoy to Saudi Arabia, former ambassador Charles W. Freeman, Jr looked like a poor choice to chair the Obama administration's National Intelligence Council. It wasn't until Mr. Freeman withdrew from consideration, however, that it became clear how bad this selection was. In describing himself as the victim of a shadowy and sinister lobby which is "intent on enforcing adherence to the policies of a foreign government" , Mr. Freeman was libelously referring to Americans who support Israel.
3/12/2009 Book Review: Jimmy Carter - We Can Have Peace in the Holy Land (Jonathan Schanzer - Jewish Policy Center) Jimmy Carter does not apologize for the historically inaccurate and inappropriate use of the word "apartheid" to describe the wall that has effectively prevented Hamas suicide bombers from killing and maiming Israelis in restaurants and discoteques. But this should come as no surprise...
3/1/2009 The Obama Administration Double-Deals on Israel (Forbes.com) Administration officials led many Jewish leaders to believe that the president had decided to boycott the UN's "anti-racism" conference known as Durban-II... at the same time, however, human rights organizations were being led to believe that the administration was not pulling out. All this leaves the American people not knowing whether they're coming or going.
2/21/2009 Obama's Durban Gambit (Jewish World Review) On February 14th at 7:03PM, the Obama administration announced it would be sending a delegation to the Durban II conference. Tzipi Livni asked Obama not to attend. Some might argue that no Israeli interest is served by openly condemning the White House. But when the White House is participating in a process that legitimizes and so advances the war against the Jewish state, such condemnation is not only richly deserved, but required.
2/21/2009 - The Red Lines have been crossed (Video - Anne Bayefsky from Eye on the UN) "...these allegations are a gross defamation of Israel, a slander against the Jewish people, and antisemitism dressed up as human rights." Joint Statement of the Hudson Institute, the Tuoro Institute on Human Rights and the Holocaust, and the International Association of Jewish Lawyers and Jurists eloquently presented at the UN by Anne Bayefsky.
2/21/2009 -Durban Watch - From EYE on the UN - (A project of Tuoro College for Human Rights and the Hudson Institute) Three days before 9/11 a United Nations "anti-racism" conference held in Durban, South Africa concluded with a poisonous declaration that Palestinians were victims of Israeli racism, the only state sponsor of racism of which the UN was conscious. Preparations are being made for Durban II, a conference dedicated to the implementation of that first declaration. Watch videos of the preparations for this conference to demonize Israel.

2/12/09 BOOK REVIEW: The Battle for Peace - Innocent Abroad (Jerusalem Post) What happens when a new US president makes Middle East diplomacy his top foreign policy objective? Former US ambassador to Israel, Martin Indyk, a key player in the failed bid for Middle East peace in the 1990's, takes us back to the future to find out...
1/16/09 Israel Must Defeat Hamas (Front Page Magazine) As Israel went deeper into Gaza, and intensified its bombardment of Hamas in Gaza City, a choris was heard: Israel is now committing war crimes... As awful as the situation in Gaza is, law professor Irwon Cotler of McGill University makes an important point -- Hamas is violating six different provisions of established international law.

12/1/2009 Egypt's Jew Haters Deserve Ostracism in the West (Wall Street Journal) There are few other places in the Middle East where Jews are blamed for so man of the world's ills. More distressing is that much of the pointing is being done by Egypt's self-described liberals - the pro-democratic and anti-Islamist crowd on which the country's hopes for a more tolerant future supposedly rest.
